Why is it important?
First of all, it is always important to do some sport, but especially surfing. when you surf you free your mind and enjoing the sea. it makes you stronger and connect you to other people that surf so you can meet new friends.
What's special in surfing?
Surfing is a very special sport. for the people who loves it, it always make them happy to be on the wave and feel the adrenalin and try new things. In addition, the surfers commuinity is very friendly and helpful. they have a lot of life happiness and they will always help you when you need help. more over, unlike other sports that are in the street, surfing is in the sea and it connects you to the nature.
Athletes and Champions
Kelly Slater - American professional surfer known for his competitive prowess and style. He has been crowned ASP World Tour Champion a record 11 times, including 5 consecutive titles from 1994 – 1998. He is the youngest (at age 20) and the oldest (at age 39) to win the title.
Mick Fanning - Australian professional surfer and triple world champion. Fanning won the 2007, 2009 and 2013 ASP World Tour.
John John Florence - JJ Florence is an hawiian surfer. Florence became well known in the winter of late 2005 and early 2006 when he became the youngest surfer ever to compete in the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing. He had previously won five amateur awards, the 2003 1st NSSA Nationals Open Mini Grom, the 2005 1st NSSA Nationals Open Boy's and the 2005 NSSA Open Boys and the Explorer Menehune Champion.
