Regular Bell Schedule Week

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year!

NVHS is proud to present our teacher of the year. Mr. Taylor Lee was chosen by both the teachers and the students at this year's teacher of the year. We are proud to have Mr. Lee as a member of the Patriot family.

Wrapping up Quarter 1

This is the first week of the new quarter. Be sure to start strong. Use your planners and make a study plan. Complete all homework and assignments on time, and get with each teacher when you have to miss class. Keep working hard!

Our teachers are working hard to finalize all grades. Report cards will be issued this week. If any student has make up work from the first 9-weeks to complete, they must get with their teacher to see about this. All tests have been removed from the after school folder and given back to the teacher. Any required assignment will be averaged as a zero, so be sure to get it done ASAP as most deadlines have already passed.

ACT Practice Test Day

All 10th & 11th graders will be taking a practice ACT test October 18th. This test helps us to get a baseline and create lessons to help students based on what they need.

All 9th & 12th graders will have a virtual day and receive lessons at home this day.

Seniors taking DE English must report for 2nd hour. You will be able to come and leave after class. Report through the mall and we will let you know what room you will be having class.

Students who were absent for workkeys testing will be taking it this day. See Mrs. Vice for details.

**All sophomore & junior checkout forms must be turned in by the end of the day Monday, October 17th**

Football Game Behavior

A few changes for our next and last home game on Friday, October 28:

All students will enter and check in at the entrance. If you leave the gate you must pay to re-enter or leave the premises.

All NVHS students must be in the stands. Students are not allowed to stand on the sides of the bleachers. Watch the game and cheer on your classmates!

Students found to be threatening to fight or causing a disturbance will be banned from attending any extracurricular activities.

Thanks for your cooperation. It is important that all NV events are safe for all students.
