Walter Jackson is sending the first Jaguars to space in February and March. On Monday, Feb. 1, John Weise from Marshall Space Flight Center will introduce students to the International Space Station. His visit and other space-related activities in Feb. and March will prepare students for our live contact with the International Space Station in mid-March.

Also in Feb., the library will host its annual Book Fair to raise money for new library books. As a tie-in to the space station contact, our Book Fair will be called, Blast Off with Books!

  • Thurs., Feb. 25, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm: Book Fair Family Night with space-related activities
