Coloma Junior High

Comet Communication - Homecoming Edition!!

Homecoming Week!

Homecoming week is a week that is filled with activities and excitement. The Junior High participates in dress-up days, friendly competitions and pep assemblies.

We will track participation in the Dress-up Days through Homeroom. The Homeroom that has the highest percentage of participation will earn a treat on Friday!

Dress up Days are as Follows

Monday - Pajama Day

Tuesday - Cowboy Day

Wednesday - Favorite Sports Team Day

Thursday - Red, White, and Blue Day

Friday - Green and Gold Day

On Friday, Staff will nominate a boy and a girl from each grade level that is showing the most Comet Pride through their spirit wear. Those students will all earn special recognition at the K-12 Pep Assembly. Show your Green and Gold!

For all Dress up Days, Hats and glasses are allowed, if it is part of the outfit. All outfits must permit students to fully participate in classes including PE.

Student Check Out During Homecoming

Please note that students will be involved in Pep Assemblies on Friday from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Due to the nature of the assembly, we will not be able to pull students for early pick-up during that time. Please plan accordingly if you are in need of an early check out that day.

Student Check Out - ID is required

In the event that you may need to pick up your child early from school, please remember that the front office will require a photo id. This policy is for the safety and protection of your children. Students are only released to the individuals listed as emergency contacts unless permission is granted from a guardian.
