School Fees

School Fees this year are $50 a student. If you have more than 2 students enrolled at AEA you will only pay for the first 2 students ($100) and the rest are covered under that cost!

PLEASE fill out the Household income survey, those who qualify for a Fee Waiver based solely on the information provided from the Household Income Survey will be contacted and informed their school fees have been waived!

School Fees are due at the end of September. If we do not receive your school fee payment we can suspend your students enrollment until a payment or a waiver is submitted.

ATTENTION 11TH GRADERS

ACT Reminder!

The state of Ohio pays for one test administration of the ACT for all 11th graders each year. Due to COVID-19, they are starting with an October test administration. This is a REQUIRED state test for all 11th graders. There is NO virtual or online option at this time.

Tuesday, September 29th at 9:00am

11th grade students will report to the Lakewood campus for a pre-testing session. (This is a required part of the ACT. Students who do not attend may not take the ACT.) They should be finished by 11:00am.

Tuesday, Oct 6th at 8:30am

Students will also report to the Lakewood campus to take the ACT. Students will be there until 1:00-1:30.

We are taking all precaution possible to limit the spread of Covid-19 and will have designated areas for students to take their tests. Face masks will be required during the entire session.

Please email Mrs. Barkliano if you have any questions.

STAR, Reading and Math Assessments Begin!

Your teachers have begun to conduct an all-online, at-home assessment designed to give them a better picture of the results of their instruction. This is a 15-20 minute test that students take to gauge their Early Literacy, Math, and Reading skills. Students in Grade K will take their first assessment on an individual schedule with their teacher, but students in Grades 1-9 began with a reading assessment to be conducted between Monday, September 14th and Friday, September 19th per their class schedule. Next will be math assessments. Click on the buttons below or explore the STAR Website to learn more about each of the assessments!

We are proud to conduct this assessment and we believe that the information we gather helps us better prepare for student needs moving forward. We encourage all students to work independently, be honest with their knowledge and truly show us what they know so we can design the best lessons possible!
