Project Based Learning with History
Every school year students will have the opportunity to research anything in history. Students choose aspects from traditions and customs, tools, transportation, technology or anything else just as long as it is their choice.
Students each receive a laptop in class. They will conduct research on their topic and use multiple means to present their research and findings including the use of technology tools like Presentations, animations, or even a form of social networking for discussions like edmodo.com.

Use of Technology
Students each receive a laptop to use in class and for their. They will conduct research on their topic and use multiple means to present their research and findings including the use of technology which range from presentations to animations to even a discussion forum. Their choices to represent their knowledge which is limitless and truly up to them.
Multiple Means of Representation
The "What" of Learning-Learners differ in the ways that they perceive and comprehend information that is presented to them. With my activity there will be multiple means of a lessons from student lead projects, but all project are not the same area of study. What could be gained are skills in research technology and presentations
Multiple Means of Expression
The "How" of learning- Learners differ in the ways that they can navigate a learning environment and express what they know. Having students choose their research and then their means of representation gives them a way to truly express what they know and use of technological skills.
Multiple Means of Engagement
the "Why" of learning- Learners differ markedly in the ways in which they learn. Some learners are highly engaged by spontaneity and novelty while other are disengaged, even frightened, by those aspects, preferring strict routine. With a project based learning activity students learn through the use of skills in research and technology.Ultimately, students take ownership in their learning and try to represent and show this to the class.
