Weekly Update
Dear Paloma Families ~
Thank you, Paloma Family, for your support and participation in our Kids' Heart Challenge last Friday and it was great to see so many of our families at the PTA Family Sweetheart Dance, too! February is a special month of recognizing and learning about Black History Month, Lincoln's Birthday, Washington's Birthday, and Susan B. Anthony Day. Classrooms will be discussing and learning about the contributions of so many important Americans.
This week the PBIS behavior standard is Listening to Others and we will be reviewing the Location Expectation for the Bathroom. (See additional information below for details).
Please be sure to read the flyer about try-outs for our annual Variety Show! (see attached Flyer below!)
Remember this week and next week are 4-day school weeks. There is no school this Friday, 2/14 or Monday, 2/17 in recognition of Lincoln's and Washington's birthdays.
Have a great week!
WE ARE Panthers, WE ARE Kind, WE ARE 'Pawsitive', WE ARE Learners, WE ARE Paloma!!!
Warmly,
Kim Mazelin

'Panther Paws'
This past Friday, one student from each grade was drawn from the raffle box. The winning ticket holder was able to select a privilege for their ENTIRE CLASS to enjoy! They also were able to come to the front office and sign the Wall of Honor! We have some awesome classroom heroes here at Paloma! Yeah to all of our Panthers earning Panther Paws for being Respectful Responsible and Safe!!
Afterschool Programs at PES
We are no longer able to send home flyers for the after school programs offered at PES by outside organizations (ex: Yes, You Can Draw classes and Fit Kids). You will find information about these events through PeachJar E-flyers. Click the link below for all of the flyers that are available at our school. https://www.tvusd.k12.ca.us/Domain/9765
The PeachJar link is also available on our school website. Thank you!
