What is Bulimia
Bulimia is an emotional disorder involving distortion of body image and an obsessive desire to lose weight, in which bouts of extreme overeating are followed by depression and self-induced vomiting, purging, or fasting.

In the United States, 20 million women and 10 million men suffer from a clinically significant eating disorder at some time in their life, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, or an eating disorder not otherwise specified.
Treatment to Bulimia
Treatment for Bulimia involves physiological counting and sometimes medicines such as antidepressant.
Do all overweight people have eating disorders?
No,all overweight people do not have eating disorders.It is important to remember that to diagnose an eating disorder the person needs to have behaviors,thoughts and feelings persistent over time that contribute to a maladaptive relationship with food.
