Posting Grades

Standards based reporting is open and will remain open until Monday, October 19 at 8:00 am. Standards grades will be visible through parent portal as they are posted. Additionally, the Numeric grading window opens Tuesday, October 7 for courses at fourth grade, fifth grade and specials. All grades should be posted by 8:00 am Monday, October 19. Report cards will be distributed on Thursday, October 22. Notify Lisa Robbins to let her know when your grades have been posted.

Itslearning Training

Jackie Aurisch will be leading training for certified staff on Tuesday, October 20 in the DDL room - 364. Sessions will be as follows:

  • 7:50 - 8:30 - Specials
  • 8:30 - 9:15 - Fifth grade
  • 9:15 - 10:00 - Second grade
  • 10:00 - 10:45 - First grade
  • 11:55 - 12:40 - Kindergarten
  • 12:40 - 1:25 - Third grade
  • 1:25 - 2:10 - Fourth grade
  • 2:30 - 3:15 - Open to all

Ready Teacher Toolbox Codes

If the Ready Teacher Toolbox prompts you to enter a new license code today, use one of the following codes: SEPTEMBERTRIAL483 or OCTOBERTRIAL967

Permanent license codes for the Ready Teacher Toolbox are being sent along with teacher editions to schools this week.


Our Fall book fair will be held October 26-November 2. We will have a special preview time for teachers on Monday, October 26 at 2:30. A sign up genius link will be emailed soon so that you can sign up for class preview times.

New Features in Destiny

- Log into Destiny (link through ITSLearning)

- Do a keyword search in Destiny

- Once the print results come up, then you can also find several online results (all evaluated and safe for kids)

WebPath Express- access to evaluated websites

after keyword search, click on “Web Sites” tab near the top; you then have the option to set filters (grade-level, Lexile level, etc.) , then click “Get Results”

One Search- searches GALILEO databases (and more); click “Get Results”; click the green check that says “Show” under any database that you want results displayed for

Standards Search- (click on the left side of the screen for this) -searches Standards of Excellence, Common Core, GPS, and QCC standards (all grade-levels, all subject areas); type in a keyword, then select the subject/standard, then the grade level, then click “Search”; this will give you a list of standards related to that keyword; you can then click on the specific standard or element to bring up online resources that support that specific standard/keyword

Digital Resources tab- this will bring up any Safari Montage videos related to your search
