Winter Break Tasks
1. Scholarships: There are scholarships available to ALL grade levels. It's never too early or too late to search and apply for scholarships. Start organizing your search by prioritizing scholarships by due dates. Here are some links to get you started: FastWeb, Naviance Scholarships, JLV Counseling Scholarships, RaiseMe
2. Catch Up: If your "To Do List" is running a little long and you've fallen behind in classes, use the time to catch up and complete assignments! Check Infinite Campus to see what you need to complete.
4. Job Shadow/Experience: Winter break is a great time to get into a career that you've been considering! Reach out to a local company and set up a job shadow or site visit. Getting these experiences can help you in determining your career path.
5. Read a Book (or an article, or anything, really): Reading is so vital to our learning, and we don't always get the time to read for pleasure. Use the Winter Break to get some reading done!
"Extra Credit:" Let your counselor know what you achieved over break!
