Andrew Jackson Overview
Being the 7th president of the United States, Andrew Jackson has caused many disturbances in both of his presidency. Removing the Indians from their land, abusing various presidential powers such as vetoing, and killing the national bank. Therefore, he is a villain and a zero in the eyes of the nation
Some Reasons for my Accusations
The Forcer
Mr. Jackson, during his first presidency, found potential in the Native American's land, for there was more space for farmers to grow, and soon the discovery of gold in the area. So, he issued a threat to the Natives, declaring that he will send in the military, if they do not comply. However, the Supreme Court said no to the threat, but Jackson went through with the threat and moving the Natives off their land. This is known as the Trail of Tears.
The Abuser
Known for many bad actions, Jackson did many things, including abusing his power to veto bills. He used this power to stop many bill that could helped the rich people, but may have helped the nation/the common man.
The Money-Murder
Jackson, felt that the National Bank was against the Constitution, and only helped the rich people. For this, he planed on banning the National Bank. When he did this, States went back to haeing their own currency, making trading harder, and the U.S. losing a lot of money.

In the cartoon, President Andrew Jackson is portrayed as a king. This is because he abused his presidential powers(such as vetoing bills) excessively. Also, King Jackson is shown standing on a ripped up Constitution, showing that he ignored the constitution, and the Supreme Courts.
