What is Diabetes Mellitus?

Description of Diabetes
Diabetes is metabolic because it is passed through genetics. Diabetes is when you can't use insulin or you can't make enough insulin. Another way of getting diabetes is not having a good diet or not enough of exercise.
Causes & Complications
The causes of diabetes are genetics and obesity. Some complications you could have with diabetes are blindness, limb amputation, hyperglycemia, heart and kidney disease, nerve damage in the feet, and you could have a stroke.
Treatments & Life Outlook
Some treatments for diabetes are to take insulin or to diet better and exercise more. The life outlook of diabetes is you have to have careful meal planning, daily exercise, take insulin, and have frequent testing of their blood sugar.
