This Week in 1st Grade:
Reading: We will be performing our Reader's Theater Play- Old MacDonald's Noisy Farm this week!
Writing: We are have started learning about writing Narratives. They are similar to journal writing except that they include a problem and solution. We are also continuing to use our imaginations and write fun Christmas stories! I hope you are enjoying these coming home!
Social Studies: We are finishing up Hanukkah this week and then talking about Christmas in the US.
The students have been working so hard on their spelling words and this week with be crazy with Rudolph day and our holiday concert, so these "simpler" words are my way of saying Merry Christmas!! :)
