King of Scotland
About the Story
"If chance will have me king, why chance may crown me without my stir," said Macbeth. Would you help chance to become a king?
Macbeth killed the king just to gain his power.
Macbeth started to have hallucinations about Banquo because he ordered his death.
Macbeth said that he killed the guards with rage, but it was really a precaution to protect his plan of killing the king.
My Response to the Story
The story went a little fast at the beginning. We did not know what his life was like when he was the Thane of Glamis. It skipped right to the prophecies that he was to become king. Macbeth is a wonderful play, just fast at the beginning.
