Principal Updates from Mr. B
- Chaperones have been selected for Springfield, thank you for volunteering.
- Picture re-take October 18th
- Fall Sports and Club Pictures are October 23rd after school.
- 7th grade-Please have all medications along with the appropriate Medication Authorization form for the Springfield trip brought into the school nurse by an adult no later than October 16th.
- All 6th-grade school physicals are due to the school nurse Mrs. Iazzetto by October 16th. If you have not turned in a physical your child will not be allowed to return to school after this date until it is completed.
Pressures of Middle School Night- Monday October 23rd 6:00-7:30pm
Students in middle school are experiencing pressures and stress from homework, extracurricular activities, social media, substance use, handling their emotions, navigating friendships, and much more.
Does this sound familiar? Come to the "Pressures of Middle School" night at Old Quarry to hear advice on handling these stressors. There will be a panel of community members to answer important questions that parents and students need to know about the toughest parts of middle school.
This night is for parents and students. Added bonus: All who attend will be entered in a raffle to win prizes!!
When is the event? Monday, October 23 from 6:00-7:30

How to RSVP? Fill out the form below. On this form, you will also have the opportunity to ask questions that you would like the panel to answer. Students had the opportunity to pose questions for this panel in advisory.
Springfield Field Trip Update- October 20th
Must have the OQMS permission form completed we have 175 out of 228 completed.
Chaperones please bring in your Driver's License prior to October 20th for a quick background check.
Bring a sack lunch with food that does not need to be refrigerated and a Water Bottle. Check the weather the day before the trip.
Dinner is Pizza, Chicken, Salad and is all you can eat.
Return to school by 9:00pm

A ticket order form will be sent home with your child. Two Old Quarry advisory classes with the most sales will win a pizza party and a BEHIND THE SCENE TOUR! Tickets must be purchased using the form to qualify for the contest. Get your tickets now!

RGP is recommended, for a small fee you can get a full refund should an emergency happen or your child does not meet the requirements listed below.
Any student that receives a major infraction referral or more than 3 after school or lunch detentions will be automatically excluded from the trip. Students must have a "C" or better in ALL classes to be able to attend the trip.
