How I Will Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle!
When ever I use something electronic, I will turn it off when i'm done. I will always recycle paper and scraps so others can reuse them. Lastly I will reuse bottles and glasses. Doing all of these I will make the world a better place!
History Of Earth Day
Earth Day was first celebrated in 1970. Earth Day is the result of Sen. Gaylord Nelson trying to protect the environment and increase awareness of environmental issues because in the 1960s there was no legislation for environmental issues. When he became a senate in 1962, he struggled to persuade the Congress to make an environmental agenda. He managed to appeal to the public and he announced April 22 to be known as "National Day For The Environment". When this news was spread millions of Americans were participating in this celebration.
