END OF THE YEAR SUPPLY PICK UP
Glendale Teachers have gathered all of the remaining items that were left in their classroom, along with Spring picture packets, yearbooks and end of the year items for our students to be ready for Summer Break!
On Wednesday June 3rd, we are initiating another “CURBSIDE SUPPLY PICK UP” where you will be able to get these items that you may have reached out to your child’s teacher about needing. You may also drop off any library books or other materials borrowed by the student(s).
*Students will be allowed to keep the district issued ipads through the summer. Please look for more communications to come on that.
In compliance with the CDC and government regulations of social distancing, we ask that EVERYONE PLEASE STAY IN YOUR CAR. DO NOT PARK AND WALK IN. We will be running our curbside supply pick up similar to what we did at the beginning of the distance learning plan. Please enter the Glendale parking lot and follow the perimeter line around the LOWER LEVEL. We realize that the line may reach out onto Connelly at times, but we ask that you please be patient and know that we are working hard to make this as efficient and effective as possible. We have designated hour-long time frames for each grade level in hopes to give relief in car traffic. Your child’s teacher will be personally delivering the bags to each vehicle, so they can say their goodbyes.
Below is the schedule:
8:00 am- 9:00 am Kindergarten
9:00 am- 10:00 am 1st grade
10:00 am- 11:00 am 2nd grade
11:00 am- 12:00 pm 3rd grade
12:00 pm- 1:00 pm 4th grade
1:00 pm- 2:00 pm 5th grade
*If you are unable to make the above scheduled times, please call the office and we will work to best accommodate your needs. 952.226.0200
*If you have multiple children at Glendale, you may choose ONE grade level time and we will grab all of your children’s supplies at once. However, if they really want to see their teacher, you will want to stick with the designated grade level time.
Please make a sign on paper with the following information:
First Name
Last Name
Teacher
(See Picture Example #1)
*For those of you who have multiple children, please be sure to indicate LAST NAME FIRST with all of the children’s names below it along with their teacher’s name.
(See Picture Example # 2).
Please place these signs in your passenger window so it is clearly visible. A staff member will then relay your name(s) over walkie-talkie to our inside team to gather the supplies. A teacher will bring your bag(s) and we ask that you please roll down your passenger window, open your mini van side door, etc. for the supplies to be placed in your vehicle. Again there is no need to park and get out of your vehicles.
Any parents who have not yet come to gather medications from the health office, please feel free to do this during your child(ren)’s designated supply pick up time. The health office hours are 8:00am – 4:00pm. You will need to park in the upper lot and walk into the nurse’s office to pick up medications.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work together as a team to navigate through these unprecedented times. We look forward to seeing you one last time before summer officially starts!
