John Hancock Charter School
November 2, 2020
Dear Families,
As you know, we are seeing a spike in COVID cases statewide. Right now we find ourselves in the greatest risk of closure since the shutdown in March. We really would like to avoid any COVID cases on campus so we need your support.
1- We have seen an increase in students coming to school without the health screening. Please be sure to complete the screening every day prior to coming to school.
2- We have seen an increase of students forgetting their masks. We are running low on our supply of masks and if it continues we will have to turn away students who forget masks before entering the building.
3- We have some students who consistently have to be reminded to keep their nose and mouth covered by the masks. Please talk to your children about wearing their masks at all times while in the building and wearing it properly.
4- We will be doing remote learning for all students the week after Thanksgiving - Nov. 30 - Dec 4th. Please support your child by ensuring they are completing the assignments and logging on with their teacher during that week.
I appreciate your support.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Adamic
