Principal Message

Hello Falcon Family-


Can you believe next week is the LAST week of school for 2019-2020?! It is also a big week to close up our building for the summer and we need your help. As previously announced we will have student item pick-up and return May 18-22. Student items to pick-up includes contents of school locker, gym locker and classroom materials. This will also include pre-ordered yearbooks and 8th grade class shirts. Student items to return include library books, classroom books, textbooks, etc. Please read the communication thoroughly to make sure you understand all needed pieces of information.


We will follow the grade level apha listing schedule below.


Please see the below map for the traffic flow for the day. Item pick-up/return will be in our West carpool/bus lane (along Maribeth). The front carpool lane will be for Chromebook return.


To help provide a safe and smooth process, please follow the tips below:

-Post family student name largely on a paper in the passenger window so it is visible to staff at the front of the line. This will allow us to pull your student materials quickly.

- We are requesting that families please remain in your vehicle the entire time. We are excited to see you, but safety of all parties is very important.

-Pop your trunk or hatch once your vehicle stops (if you are able). A staff member will greet you and then place your student items in your trunk. Please leave any materials that need returning there as well. The staff member will pick up the materials to return and take them inside.


Regarding borrowed Chromebooks, the district realizes the significant opportunities and experiences these devices are affording our students and families during this time of closure. Families/students have the option to return Chromebooks to campuses May 20-22 if they:

    1. don’t think they will be useful as a learning support over the summer and/or

    2. don’t want to be burdened with the responsibility of keeping track of them and/or

    3. will be moving and will no longer reside in Plano ISD for the upcoming school year.


All families who checked out a Chromebook, should complete this form to share your intent regarding Chromebook return.

If you choose to return your Chromebook, please enter the front/main carpool lane immediately as you leave the student item pick-up/return lane. Staff will then greet you and will check-in your Chromebook.


We greatly appreciate your cooperation, your patience and support as we work to serve you as quickly as possible, but please understand this is a major undertaking and things may move a little slowly at times. Thank you so much for your support!
