Girls Basketball Pasta Dinner and Trivia Night September 27th
The Gananda Girls Basketball team would like to invite you to join them on Friday, September 27, for a pasta dinner and trivia night! Start gathering people together so you can pre-register your team. There is currently no limit on the number of teams eligible to participate, but you will need to pre-register by contacting Coach Meuwissen at kmeuwissen@gananda.org. You do not need to participate in the trivia night to enjoy the pasta dinner, or vice verse, but are absolutely encouraged to do so!
Some highlights of the trivia night include:
- 7 rounds of trivia with topics such as heroes and villains, cover songs, alphabet soup, and other general trivia. Teams will benefit most from a mix of adults to pre-teens, but all ages are welcome.
- In game bonuses such as: buying a chance to Double Down (make your answers worth double the points), purchasing bonus questions, and other in game surprises.
- Awesome prizes will be given out to the trivia winners, the best team name, the best team theme/costume, and more!
Event Times:
- The anticipated start time is 7:00 pm, and it is expected to run about 2 hours. There will be two breaks within the game during which dessert/snacks will be available for purchase.
- The pasta dinner is anticipated to start at approximately 4:30pm, and run until approximately 7:00pm.
Have young kids and can’t make it? We hope to provide babysitting that night as well, to free up your schedule for a few hours. We are still finalizing plans so be on the lookout for more information to follow soon!

New Option to Report Student Absences
ID Required to Enter Gananda HS - please bring your driver's license when you come in!
Ruben A. Cirillo High School uses the same Raptor visitor management system that the Middle School used. The system provides an overall safer environment for our students and staff by enabling us to check visitors, contractors, and volunteers in the high school building. All visitors to Ruben A. Cirillo High School will need to present a valid ID to be scanned into the Raptor system. For our incoming Freshman parents and guardians, the Middle School system does not transfer over to the High School so you will need to provide your license the first time you enter the school. Once you have been scanned into the system you should not need to provide your license again.
