Patriot Week at a Glance
January 25-31
A Note from the Principal:
Dear Patriot Families,
I hope everyone is doing well. I want to once again thank you for the great school year we’ve had so far, and I appreciate you working so closely with your child’s teacher to help your child be successful in school. Keep working with them every night, and encourage them to always do their best. This time of year is hard for students to “stay focused”. Please remind your child to work hard and make good choices, both academically and behaviorally. If you have any questions about your child's learning, please reach out to the classroom teacher. In February, we will host our student led conferences. We are looking forward to our students being able to share goals and their learning with you!
Join us on THURSDAY, 8:00 am for a Patriot Town Hall (see flyer below). The webinar link will be sent via email, hope to "see" you this week. Patriot welcomed our new School Resource Officer, Officer Josh. He has jumped right in to support all of our students and any needs we have in the building. We are so thankful for this position and look forward to him being with us at Patriot.
Thank you for your continued support, it is quite amazing we have been open for face to face learning this school year. Please remind your child to wear his/her mask each day.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Canon, Principal

Virtual Wellness Resources
FFC8 Families,
As we enter into second semester, FFC8 mental health providers have put together a collection of virtual wellness resources for students and families to use for self-care. There are a variety of resources for children of all ages, from animal cams and coloring sheets, to music and yoga. Please explore these resources with or for your child(ren) or yourselves. Our wellness resource page can be accessed through this link and is also available through the home page at each school as well as the district website.

PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO SEND YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL WITH A MASK
A note from our school nurse, Mrs. Porter:
We have students at Patriot who have no immunization records or are missing immunizations. Please contact me or bring in updated ones, that would be greatly appreciated! We will also contact families who need to turn in records.
