Kindergarten Roundup
Date: Thursday, March 28, 2019 Time: 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. (parents and students attend)
To be eligible to enter Kindergarten for the 2019-20 school year, your child must reach the age of 5 before August 1, 2019.
Online enrollment information will be shared at Kindergarten Round Up. The online enrollment portal will be available after March 28th.
Kindergarten Screening Screenings will be held at each elementary building on: May 6, 2019 – 12:30-7:30 May 8, 2019 – 8:00-4:00 Sign-Up information will be available at Kindergarten Round Up
Kindergarten Round Up will take place at your child’s elementary building. Please check the district website at www.lsr7.org; then “Schools” and “find a school” if you have questions regarding which building he/she will attend. All other questions should be directed to the elementary school in your attendance area.

Information from the Health Room
Things you can work with your child on at home to help them be healthy
- Covering coughs and sneezes in the bend of their elbow, not with their hands.
- Learning to blow their nose into a kleenex and not on their arm or sleeve.
- Practicing good hand washing at home after using the restroom & before eating.
- Be vigilant about checking for head lice at home and reporting any new cases to the Health Room 986-2472
