-
First meeting for Yearbook Volunteers - Saturday, November 18, 2023 - at 9am meeting at the Lobby Coffee Bar. All of the information is on the flyer including the email address to contact for questions.
- Just in time for some holiday gifts, our FSO is sponsoring a Yankee Candle fundraiser! Check out the flier below.
- REPEAT: VIP Day is coming up, along with American Education Week! The attached form (for release of a student) was sent on Monday. An excerpt from the letter:
To help us prepare for the number of visitors we have, please complete the pre-registration form at https://forms.office.com/r/7qAinne7C3 AND complete the bottom portion of this letter and return to your child’s homeroom teacher by Monday, November 20th. The pre-registration allows us to manually enter visitors into the Raptor system prior to the day to ensure the safety of all students while at school. You will need the visitor’s Driver’s license number. We have near 700 students and this is one of our busiest days of the year. The pre-registration will help keeps lines at a minimal level so that no one misses the visiting window. We cannot guarantee that you will make the visitation if you do not pre-register. CCPS requires that all visitors are signed into Raptor to attend in school events. Again, you will receive a paper copy of Monday. We are looking forward to seeing you!
- Please note a clarification on non daily car riders or those being picked up for appointments:
- If your child needs to be picked up due to an appointment, please arrive at the front office before 3:45PM (1:45PM on Early Dismissal Days). Our office staff and duty staff start preparing for Daily Car Riders and bus dismissal at 3:55PM (1:55PM on Early Dismissal Days) With the change from a 30minute bus window to 10 minutes, we will need to keep our focus on the dismissal process.
- We are able to manage Non-Daily Car Riders but we are still not able to accommodate Drop in, Surprise Car Riders. For Non-Daily Car Riders, you MUST send a paper note, NOT AN EMAIL, with your child, EACH day that you plan for them to be a car rider. Please let your child know that they must dismiss with the Daily Car Riders at 4:05PM when announced. We will NOT call individual students down for dismissal. Please do not send a note saying “every Tuesday” instead, send a note every Tuesday. We can not expect teachers to keep up with all students’ special request schedules. We ask that you send a paper note each day because there could be a sub in the class instead of the teacher.

Repeated from Last Week
Congratulations to the RED flock for having the greatest amount of Splash Cash so far this year! The flock was able to spend some time with outdoor activities with the NHS SGA! Thank you to the NHS SGA for supporting our school community and being role models for the future leaders!
Spirit Wear sales are extended to Nov 6th.
We are looking for some volunteers to help with our Splash Cash. We’ve added two new dates for our Splash Cash Cart (students trade in splash cash for a reward).
