- The Gift of Reading Program in Kindergarten- Ms. Daniels will read this year’s book, Little Penguin Gets the Hiccups by Tadgh Bentley, and each student will be given their very own copy! Special thanks to MIDFLORIDA for their generous donation to the young readers at CES!

Why Central's Families Read...
Starting in kindergarten, if a student reads 20 minutes a day at home, they will hear 1.8 million words per year. They will have read for 851 hours by 6th grade and on standardized tests, they will likely score better than 90% of their peers.

All Veterans Day Programs
Math or Treat in 5th Grade with Mrs. Tribble. Students solved math questions and either won a treat or another math problem!
Our i-Ready buddies went out this morning. Congratulations to Mrs. Wooten's 1st grade class for having between 70%-100% on lessons passed in Reading. Congratulations to Mrs. Tuten's homeroom class for having the highest class average on their recent Standard Mastery.
