Launch of Viadeo Mag

Viadeo Mag, a biweekly newsletter for all French-speaking Viadeo members, has been live since 14 October 2013!

The first two editions, respectively dedicated to Jobs and Viadeo Mobile/iPad, performed well. The key win was the interactive questionnaire (in the first edition), which collected over 12 000 answers!

Viadeo Live: it’s alive! (and growing every day…)

Three Viadeo Live emails (Visits, News from your network, People you may know) have been live since October. Viadeo Live is gradually increasing in volume, and has replaced Viadeo Inside.

We are still in the test phase, but the preliminary results are very encouraging: number of profiles viewed (+17% vs. Inside), DCR sent (+8% vs. Inside), profile updates (+14% vs. Inside), transactions (+10% vs. Inside), revenue (+10% vs. Inside).

‘Espace Formation’ email campaign

This email campaign, which promotes Viadeo’s Education section, was launched mid-October and targeted three distinct segments: IT managers, HR & Training managers, and all other managers. The campaign showed good results with the UOP up to 32%!

Our latest Premium promotional email campaign ‘1 mois offert pour 3 mois achetés’ performed really well: UOP 23%. 36K EUR revenue was registered the day of the campaign launch.

Orange Partnership

The Orange partnership, launched mid-October, continues to rake in positive results: as of today, over 14,415 Viadeo web app and mobile users and Orange clients have signed up for 2 months of free Premium membership.

The Orange partnership email campaign, launched this week, showed great results: UOP 32%, CTR 5%.


Viadeo Campus

Viadeo Campus is live and has already attracted 17 registered institutions, including ESSEC, SKEMA, GEM, and UPMC Paris 7.

The launch of the website also got some press coverage, including an article in Digischool, E-Orientations, meltyCampus, Capcampus. Soon to come – an interview Olivier Fecherolle gave to L’Etudiant.

Our partnership with Kapstage, which will integrate internship offers into the Viadeo website, is moving forward. It’s now the Viadeo product team’s turn to make it go live!

Within the next few weeks, around 1500 internship offers for young graduates and students are expected to appear on a dedicated page in the Jobs & Training section.

Education partnerships

  • A presentation on Viadeo and the use of the professional social networks was given at the KEDGE Business School on 15 October. Over 100 final-year students attended.

  • 16,350 three-month Premium membership coupons for students have been distributed to date.

Member Relations

The Member Relations team has been working hard on rebuilding the FAQ page and, as Audrey recently mentioned, it’s now live! With its branded interface design and easy navigation, it’s already got some very positive feedback: « Il résout beaucoup de problèmes en même temps, dont pour moi celui de la langue, et bien sûr c'est plus complet et plus joli. »

Good job to the Member Relations team and to all of those who took part in this project!
