## WHAT IS A DECIMAL????

A decimal is a number thar is not an exact number, is a number that has an extra few part of another whole. EXAMPLE= 2.5 this number has only 2 complete wholes.

NOW THAT YOU KNOW WHAT IS A DECIMAL YOU ARE GOING TO LEARN HOW TO ADD THEM, SUBTRACT THEM, MULTIPLY THEM, AND DIVIDE THEM!!!!!

## ADDITION

## 1 step First of all what you have to do is aline the decimals, it doesn't matters if one number has more decimals than the other. ALWAYS ALINE THE DECIMALS!!! | ## step 2 The second thing that you have to do is add normaly like you allready know the same as withouth decimals. | ## step 3 The las thing that you have to do is put down the decimal it's so easy!! |

## 1 step

First of all what you have to do is aline the decimals, it doesn't matters if one number has more decimals than the other. ALWAYS ALINE THE DECIMALS!!!

## step 2

The second thing that you have to do is add normaly like you allready know the same as withouth decimals.

## SUBTRACTION

## step1 First of all you aline the decimals as in addition | ## step 2 The 2 step you subtract normaly as you already knowed | ## step 3 The 3 step you put all the way down the decimal!!! |

## MULTIPLICATION

## step1 first you DON'T aline the decimals NOOOO!!!!! | ## step 2 Then you multiply normaly like if the decimals where not there | ## step 3 You DON'T aline the decimals. You count how many soaces are betwen each decimal and then you put the decimL in the corresponding place |

## DIVISION

## step 1 you don't aline the decimals you put the decimal a t the end of the number and you put it up | ## step2 you divide normaly | ## step3 you finishhhh this is the result |
