- If the animal is big they have to drive to the animal and bring all the equipment that is needed

- Give animals vaccines, medicine, bandage up broken bones

- Then complete a 4 year veterinary medicine program to earn a Doctor of Veterinary Science
- Before they can work as a veterinarian they have to pass a licensing exams.
