Warren School
Regional School District No. 6
Principal's Message for April 20, 2017
The whole school visited the Eric Sloane Museum on Tuesday,
compliments of the Warren Historical Society and
the Warren Arts Heritage Program.
I hope that you all had a wonderful April break. It is hard to believe that there are less than nine weeks left of this school year. The last day for students will be Wednesday, June 21st. The last three days of school will be early dismissals. The Warren School sixth grade Moving Up is scheduled for Monday, June 19th, at 6:30 PM.
There are many exciting events scheduled between now and the end of the school year. Please continue to check "A Look Ahead" and "Happenings and Items of Note" in each week's e-blast for an updated listing of upcoming events.
Best wishes,
Angela Rossbach, Ed.D.
Principal

Summerfest - Camp for students in grades 2-8
Wamogo High School is pleased to announce that for the upcoming summer of 2017, we are running our very own summer program: Summerfest.
This is a 6 week long camp-style program that is 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday) from 9am - 2pm, and runs from June 26th - August 3rd. Sessions are split into 2 week increments and you may sign your child up for multiple sessions if you so choose. Summerfest is open to all Region 6 students of all ability levels in grades 2 - 8. The cost is $75 per week per child with transportation available from central locations for participants. July 5-7 is a shortened week and costs $50.
Summerfest features tons of fun, daily activities led by a team of peer leaders, which include: outdoor sports, classic camp games, arts and crafts, music and drama, water carnivals, cooking, gardening, STEM, dance, team building games, and much more.

Seeds of Dreams Seed CO
Created by the Warren School Fifth and Sixth Grade 2016
The mission of Seeds of Dreams Seed CO is to provide organic, raw, nutritional Harvest of Dreams sunflower seeds and reach out to help others in need. Through the purchase of the seed packets, our plan is to continue our support to local soup kitchens and food banks and to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) through donations raised.
This project was started and coordinated by 6th graders. All K-6 students are helping to weigh seeds and make packets.
We hope you'll support this project by purchasing seeds using this order form.
