A Note From Ms. Villegas
Hello!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break!
FIELD TRIP
Our field trip to Morgan's Wonderland will be on Thursday, April 6th. PLEASE make sure to read, sign, and return permission slips, chaperone slips, lunch forms, and donation forms no later than tomorrow, Monday, March 20th.
CLASS PICTURE DAY
Our group class picture will be on Wednesday, March 22nd. Kinder will be the first group to take photos promptly at 7:30 AM, so we ask that all students arrive on time to ensure they are included in our class group picture.
SPRING EGG HUNT
Our class will have an egg hunt on Wednesday, April 5th. Please send in 12 pre-filled plastic eggs by Monday, April 3rd. Eggs can be pre-filled with individually wrapped candy, nut free candy, stickers, trinkets, etc. Thank you so much for your help with donations!
CLASS BOOK
We will begin working on a class written and illustrated book. Your child will bring home information about our class book that we will be publishing. Please make sure to carefully read, sign, and return all the important forms. Everyone will have an opportunity to order a copy of the hardback book. You will not want to miss out on this exciting opportunity!
RED HOMEWORK FOLDER
Please make sure to work with your child to complete their Texas Pledge packet. Please also make sure to practice reciting the Texas Pledge daily. I will be assessing your child on Friday to see if they can recite the pledge correctly.

- RED Homework Folder (Texas Pledge Packet & Flashcard Activities)
- Practice writing a complete sentence that makes sense, begins with a capital letter, has finger spaces between words, and has ending punctuation.
- Practice orally counting to 100.
- Practice identifying and writing numbers 0-100.
- Read to your child DAILY!

Reminders
- Please make sure your child has brought their personal HEADPHONES to keep in class ASAP.
- Please send your child with a SPILL-PROOF WATER BOTTLE every day.
- Please look through, clear, and return your child's GREEN Travel Folder daily.
- Please remember that all SNACKS should be small, quick, healthy, peanut-free snacks.
- Please make sure you have sent your child with a CHANGE OF CLOTHES in a labeled gallon size ziplock bag. (I am storing them in a cabinet in our classroom, that way your child does not have to lug them around daily in their backpacks.)

VISITOR LUNCH SIGN UP
You may sign up to have lunch on campus with your student. Parents may eat at the designated tables on the stage of the cafeteria or at the newly installed picnic tables outside of the cafeteria in the open courtyard area.
You will only need to sign up for 1 slot per student. You may only sign up for one lunch per month with your child at this time. Each student may have 1 or 2 guests.
Reminders:
Your student may not have a classmate join him/her for lunch.
Photos may be taken in the Commons area of only your student.
