Missing Guided Reading Inventory

If you come across a book that belongs to our guided reading library, please bring it to Jennifer in the front office rather than returning it to a shelf in the guided reading room. We want to get it marked off the outstanding inventory listing.

End of Year Checkout Procedures

Please complete the end of year checklist and give completed forms to Loryn Tobey no later than 3:30 pm on Friday, June 5th. All staff not returning must be packed and out of the building by Saturday, June 6th at noon. Please remember that if you are leaving FISD, you must turn in your access card/badge. Failure to do so will result in a $25 deduction from your last paycheck.

All keys should be turned in to Jennifer before you leave today and will be returned to you in August.

Year-End Shredding

Please place school-related items for shredding in Jennifer's office before you leave for summer break. Please do not include personal items or anything which is bound (books, magazines, etc). Although most things may be shredded, please hold onto data and documentation for 5 years.

End of Year Housekeeping

Please assist our custodial staff by clearing your classroom of as much debris as possible ensuring all desks, shelves, countertops, etc. remain clutter-free in preparation for summer cleaning.

Summer Work Orders

Are there items in need of repair in or around your classroom over summer break? Examples include stained ceiling tiles, loose cabinet or drawer handles, loose keyboard trays, repair of wall mounted pencil sharpeners, etc. Please submit your work order needs here.


Please do not move furniture within the building. If you would like a table, student desk(s), chair(s), etc. moved, we will ask our wonderful custodial team to move these items for you. We have tracked movement of furniture throughout the building all school year, and we want to continue to do so. If you have any questions about what was 'standard issue' when the building opened, please do not hesitate to ask.

File cabinets and desk files cannot/should not be moved as the keys assigned to that cabinet are unique to that classroom. If you have already moved something, please do let Jennifer know so that she can ensure our records and the keys in the master safe are current.
