The People
The people in the taiga adapt to the land very well through years and years of ancestors. They learned how to use the land and how to get the good out of everything they had. The harsh climate makes it hard for everyone to in habit in these areas, there are only a few of famous or well known cites, one is the botia, located in Siberia. Of the three hundred or so people that have came to this little area. Most of the people can easily live off the land, as trappers, log men during the very few summer months. In the taiga, because of the harsh winters, the snow crust is very tough and when broken the snow is very deep underneath. As far as the people using this to their advantage, they see the big heavy animals like moose or bear, that break the snow crust and sink into the heavy deep snow, making it hard for them to walk, they use this and shoot the animal for food, or extra money. The deep snow, and sharp tough crust, can be hard on the people as well, and ways they use the land is make snow shoes out of wood that they would put over their shoes and would be able to walk on the snow easier. Everything that the people in the taiga do is a year round job, whatever it may be, so there is no time for horse play, just learning and perfecting the trades. In the spring there are different ways the people use the land because of the different weather conditions, they wont be able to travel the same way, hunt the same way, or live the same way.
There are goods and bad to the people using the land, they can effect the land in a positive way and a negative way. if there is a lot of taking for the land of the same thing, for example cutting down to many trees, they can stir up the habitat of the animals which causes them to move, migrate, which also has a bad impact for the people for they will not have the animals to hunt, eat, and sell for fur. during the few summer months, the main trade is logging because big areas are flooded and they are easier to travel naturally down the rivers, but can create a natural damn with the logs. If the water stops flowing, the animals can get affected by this change in their habitat. The people are starting to see their effect in the land after years, and deciding they need to start doing something to give back
The conversation of a land that is used so much for all there resources like the taiga is essential. some things are the same kind of conservation as most lands, as far as hunting laws and seasons. there are a few things that are hard to control with the very little populated areas, like potures, and illegal ways of the land. The lack of conservation is effecting the land in a negative way, even thought the taiga is getting bigger because of the flooding and freezing of the land, and water, the resources are getting taken away from the land, animals and being used up by the people, but not being replaced. Ways many people think we should try and conserve the land, by making it so that they can only cut down as many trees, and make national forest and parks, where they will be protected, and than we can try and preserve the land, for many years.
The one you came me, and the movie, The Happy People.

Taiga (Botanist and Zoologist)
The Taiga is also know as coniferous or boreal forest, it’s the largest terrestrial biome on earth. Compared to other biomes, the Taiga has less diversity in plant life. One of the plants in this biome that is quite popular is, the Conifer, it’s just another name for an ‘Evergreen’ and it’s the most seen around the Taiga. Another plant is a Black Spruce, and some people would say that the name fits it so well, because it grows so tall it blacks out the sun. Another one of the tress is an White Poplar, it can live up to be 300 years old, it is the oldest tree in the biome. And those were some of the most seen/popular pants in the biome.
The Taiga’s weather makes it very hard for animals to live there, even though many have thick coats to insulate, it’s still very chilly. The Taiga has a mixture of many big or small animals. Some of the bigger rarer ones are Elks, Moose’s, and some of the smaller rarer ones are Ermine and Moles. But here are some of the most seen around the Taiga. The bobcat, the small little carnivore kitty, it has a smaller population but they are seen most. Another one is an River Otter, they mainly eat fish, and have a medium sized population, and are seen in many streams, and lakes. Then last but not least is the Wolverine, it mainly eats meat, sometimes plants, has a very large population, and is seen lurking around in the woods. So, those were some animals of the Taiga, be sure to stay away from the wild animals

Geography and Meteorology
The Taiga extends in a broad band across North America, Europe, and Asia to the southern border of the artic tundra. The Taiga is the largest terrestrial biome (dominant vegetation lots of plants and trees) on earth. This biome is found at cool, high-elevated areas like in the mountainous western region of North America. Much of the Taiga was once covered with glaciers and when they finally melted, the cuts and depressions were left and rain filled it in making lakes and bogs. Generally the weather in the Taiga is based off of its seasons. They have long cold winters and short, mild wet summers. There winters are bitterly cold because of the artic wind that it gets. During the summer even though its mild they get fires that actually help get rid of sick plants and etc. The precipitation in the Taiga is normally high and falls as snow in the winter. They get 10-30 inches, 25-75 cm of rain a year.
