Big picture

Dear RQMS Families:

Thank you for your support during our eventful week brought on by Colorado weather. These situations can be very impactful and we strive to meet the greatest needs of our community.

New Building: The construction process is almost complete at our new building! If we had to move over today, we could. There are still a few tests being done with the HVAC system along with a few others, but it looks great. I am excited to share that we were able to coordinate having our basketball teams practice at the new building this Friday evening.

November 15: We are planning re-scheduled photos for the boys' basketball team that were missed due to the snow day. More information to follow next week.

November 19: Our 8th graders will be going to the Adams County Career Expo. They will most likely be gone during their lunch period, so on 11/19 we will ask 6th graders to eat lunch before their Pathways classes, so the 8th graders can eat when they return. One half of the seventh graders will also be gone that day for International Towne. The other half will be going on the following day 11/20.

December 12th: Please put this date on your calendar. At 5:30 we will have our ribbon cutting at Quist. I hope you all can plan to attend. We will have our ribbon-cutting ceremony in the gym and then open up parts of our building for self-guided tours.
