Lord Of The Flies
By William Golding
If you woke up tomorrow and adults didn't exist anymore, what would you do?
When a bunch of 6 to 12 year old boys crash land on an island during world war without an adult in sight, rules may seem pointless, but they're the only things that will keep them alive.
FEAR
Fear becomes paralyzing and unbeatable when the boys realize that there is nothing to be afraid of except fear itself.
POWER
With great power comes great responsibility, especially if jealousy is an issue.
IDENTITY
Will the boys reveal their true identities on this island, or will they abandon their true identities as they become more primitive?
"Lord Of The Flies is one of my favorite books. This was a big influence on me as a teenager; I still read it every couple of years." -Suzanne Collins, author of The Hunger Games trilogy
