Week of October 11, 2015
Target the Question
1) How are you maximizing your time with our younger students when getting their journals ready?
2) How are you modeling for students your expectations on the use of their journals?
3) During DATA TALKS we discussed allowing our younger students to have the picture projected for them AND having them use their problems in their journals for the reading.
I-Station
Please remember that all students in k-2 are expected to use the program during reading stations. Ms. Sternes provided everyone i-station student log in cards. My expectation is that all students are self directed and will know how to log on to the computer with their student id numbers and their birth year as their passwords, and then log on with their i-station log on cards. If students can go home and use i-pads; smart phone, tablets and so forth they can log on to the computers in your classroom. Thanks for having high expectations for them.
