WTAC 2020 VIRTUAL EDITION
To continue the long-standing tradition of friendly competition and helpful commentary prior to UIL competitions, the Coronado Band invites you to participate in the 2020 Virtual Edition of WTAC!
- Entries for all categories of our traditional competition will be accepted by video submission. Please read below for specific instructions about each category.
- Videos must be submitted no later than Friday, October 2nd at 11:59pm. Any submission received after 11:59pm will not be accepted and no refund will be available.
- After you register your units using the link below, you will receive an email with instructions for submitting videos.
- All competitions will be adjudicated on Saturday, October 3rd, at Coronado High School.
- Judges will view each video straight-through, in a single viewing, and will provide audio commentary.
- Results will be announced on Sunday, October 4th.

Color Guard Lines
Minimum performance time: 2 minutes
Maximum performance time: 8 minutes
- You may submit 2 videos, an upper view and a lower view, if you choose.
- Design analysis and general effect will be scored using the upper view; body and equipment will be scored using the lower view, if both are available.
- If you submit both videos, they must be from the same, continuous run.
- Scoring for all categories will be done using a single view if you submit only one video.
Drum Lines
Minimum performance time: 2 minutes
Maximum performance time: 8 minutes
- You may submit 2 videos, an upper view and a lower view, if you choose.

Twirling Lines
Minimum performance time: 2 minutes
Maximum performance time: 8 minutes
- Any recognized equipment can be utilized.
- There is no minimum equipment time.
- Videos must be from one, continuous run of the performance.
- Please video so that the camera does not move to follow the performer, if at all possible. Video the entire space from a stationary position so that the performers use of space can be considered.
Drum Major Solos and Ensembles
Maximum performance time: 4 minutes
- Videos must be from one, continuous run of the performance.

Percussion Solos and Ensembles
Minimum performance time: 1 minute, 30 seconds
Maximum performance time: 3 minutes
- Ensembles may include 2-4 performers.
- Any recognized equipment can be utilized.
- There is no minimum equipment time.
- Videos must be from one, continuous run of the performance.
Color Guard Solos and Ensembles
Minimum performance time: 1 minute, 30 seconds
Maximum performance time: 3 minutes
- Ensembles may include 2-4 performers. (5+ is considered a color guard line.)
- Any recognized equipment can be utilized.
- There is no minimum equipment time.
- Videos must be from one, continuous run of the performance.
- Please video so that the camera does not move to follow the performer, if at all possible. Video the entire space from a stationary position so that the performers use of space can be considered.
