Description: Learn how to organize all of your Genealogy Research in a family binder. Supplies listed on flyer, and handouts will be distributed.

Searching for a job is easier if you have help! This month we cover Career Research Search Skills on 4/3 and Soft Skills on 4/17.

DIY - Charcoal Art: 6PM Wednesday, April 4

Get in touch with your creative side in this fun class and go home with original art work you make yourself!

GENEALOGY Q&A: 6PM Thursdays, April 5 & 19

Statesboro Library Genealogy Coordinator, Lillian Wingate answers your genealogy questions. Stop by for one-on one help time.

52 WEEKS OF GIVING - 4 PM Friday April 6 & 20

Give back to our community and make a difference in people’s lives! Stop by on the first and third Friday of the month to see what good deed we’re doing now. No sign up is required—you can join this program at any time!



Knitting & Crocheting Club - 10 am Saturdays, April 7, 14, 21, & 28

Bring your knitting needles, crochet hooks and yarn! Share projects and get new ideas! New members welcome!

BASIC Computers - WORD: 12pm Sat. April 7 & Fri. April 13

Basic computer skills for patrons who are unfamiliar with the computer. Instructed by Statesboro Library Technology Coordinator, Jasmine Cleveland.

Family fun at our monthly children’s book give-away with games crafts and snacks!



FOL ANNUAL MEETING: 6PM MONDAY, April 9

The Friends of the Statesboro Library raises money which they contribute to ward Library programs. Be a Friend!

Changing Of Names - 6 PM Tuesday, April 10

Genealogy and Local History Coordinator, Lillian Wingate will help us understand how and why family names have evolved over the years.

ANIME & MANGA CLUB (ages 12 – 18) 5 PM Wednesday, April 11 & 25

For teens and young adults interested in watching and discussing different anime series. Enjoy an activity, snacks and new episodes each week!

RETRO VIDEO GAMING: 2-6 PM SATURDAY, April 14

Get your game on and come on over for a marathon session! All your favorite oldies, plus some you may not know!

DIY - SPRING WREATH: 6PM Wednesday, April 18

Bring a breath of spring into your home with a lovely wreath you make yourself! Supplies will be provided. Sign-up (required) @ the Circulation Desk to ensure space.

The Friends of the Library Book Sale is not to be missed! Great books at bargain prices AND all profits benefit the Library!

Control your finances and you take control of your economic future. The NAPFA Consumer Education Foundation in coordination with GSU will offer free advice.

Which family records can you find at the courthouse? Find out what’s there and how you can access copies your family records.

Essential Oils: Make & Take: 6PM Wednesday, April 25 (re-scheduled from 3/17)

Pamper yourself with spa items! We’ll be making a sugar scrub & foot soak both with essential oils. Bring 2 half pint jars with lids to bring your goodies home.

SUPER SMASH BROTHERS: 2-6PM Friday, April 27

A marathon gaming event at your friendly public library—bring your game on!



DIY - ADULT FINGER PAINTING: 2PM Saturday, April 28

Get in touch with your inner child, express yourself and bring home a work of art! Wear washable clothes and BYO paint if you wish, but supplies will be available.
