Good evening Spartans,

I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for another amazing week at the Home of Champions. This past week at CVH was full of Spartan Pride. We had concerts, performances, the district Art Gala, the musical, baseball, softball, tennis, beach volleyball and volleyball games goin on at the Home of Champions. Additionally, to cap it off, our awesome ASB students took us on a Read Trip to Sparta to celebrate our Spring Sports at the Spring Sports Assembly. It was definitely a busy week!

This week will be just as busy, and it will also be the last week before our two-week Spring Break. With so much going on, it's easy to get lost in the shuffle and fall behind in academics. Students, don't let your work fall through the cracks, stay focused and keep working hard. Parents/guardians, I encourage you to come support your student if they are involved in extracurricular activities, but also please help them stay on top of their work. Check Jupiter Grades regularly, contact your student's teachers if you have questions. Before you know it, It will be summer break!

Please join us as we honor those students who earned a GPA of 3.5 and above during the fall semester grading period. We will have two ceremonies, students with the last name of A-L will be at 9:00am, while students with the last name of M-Z will be at 11:00am. Ceremonies will be in the PAC, limited parking available on campus. Students who made Honor Roll will receive an individual invitation to the appropriate ceremony.

Spartan Students we invite you to join Chula Vista High School's After School Programs! All programs are available for FREE! You can also stop by and have some fun at the Vault located in the Youth Center. The Vault has pool, air hockey, foosball, PS4, Switch, arcade games and more!!!!! **EVERYTHING IS FREE!!!!!!!**

Our morning hours will be from 7:15-8:15 AM (students will need to enter through Youth Center entrance at 465 L Street).

Our afternoon hours will be from 3:39-5:30 PM every day. We are also open during 7th/8th period for those students who are unscheduled.
