Hello Bobier Broncos!
We are now in our last week of the 2021-2022 school year! We could not be more proud of our students and their continued resilience and perseverance this school year. We also want to thank our many parents who dedicated their time this year on PTA, ELAC, School Site Council and all those who supported our teachers and school. Thank You for your care, support and dedication to our learning community. We couldn't have made it through without you! We are proud of all of our Broncos and all that they have accomplished! Thank you for a great year!

5th Grade Promotion
The time has come to celebrate the culmination of your child’s elementary career. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and wish them the very best as they move on to middle school.
Our fifth grade promotion is Tuesday, June 7 at 9:00AM.
Please note that if you bring balloons they will need to be tied to the fence during the ceremony so they do not block the view of those seated behind you. We do not recommend candy leis as they melt on the students. Please plan ahead and do not park in the red fire lane. We want to ensure the red zone is clear.
*Chairs will be provided.

Little Free Library - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!
On Friday we had the official ribbon cutting to celebrate Bobier’s very own Little Free Library!
Our Little Free Library was financed through the LFL Impact Program and we are thankful to our Community Liaison, Olga Guzman, for making it possible! The Program provided a box full of bilingual books to stock it with. Please take a book and leave a book for others to enjoy!Other reading programs for the summer: Public Library: https://www.sandiego.gov/public-library/kidsandteens/summerreading Scholastic Books: https://www.scholastic.com/site/summer-reading.html#summer-reading

Reading Tips-Summer
The #1 fact separating good readers from weak readers is . . .
time spent reading!!
Reading requires practice. Our brains are not naturally wired for reading. Reading is a learned skill. And like any learned skill, it must be practiced.
Remember, students have access to Lexia and MyOn over the summer.
And don’t forget to visit the Vista Public Library, which has a summer reading challenge running June 1st to August 31st. The Oceanside Public Library has a bookmobile service.
Please pack books for any summer trips, whether by car or plane. Time spent traveling is a great time to catch up on reading.
