Bobier Bronco Blast
News You Can Use-June 5, 2022
Hello Bobier Broncos!
We are now in our last week of the 2021-2022 school year! We could not be more proud of our students and their continued resilience and perseverance this school year. We also want to thank our many parents who dedicated their time this year on PTA, ELAC, School Site Council and all those who supported our teachers and school. Thank You for your care, support and dedication to our learning community. We couldn't have made it through without you! We are proud of all of our Broncos and all that they have accomplished! Thank you for a great year!
There is a lot happening this last week! Please note that the last day of school (Wednesday, June 8th) is a Minimum Day. School will be dismissed at 12:54pm on June 8th. Please note that our school year does not end until Wednesday, June 8th. Please ensure your student attends school Monday - Wednesday as we have many exciting events planned for them and attendance will be recorded.
Things that need to be returned to school before June 8th, 2022:
Home Device (chromebook or iPad)
Chargers that go with above devices
Hot Spot & Charger
(if they are damaged or lost, please plan on paying for the book(s))
Anything that your teacher has lent you for you to use at home (These items must be returned.)
Chromebooks will stay in the classroom. If there is anything wrong with the device when you turn it in, please make a note of the problem.
5th Grade Promotion
The time has come to celebrate the culmination of your child’s elementary career. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and wish them the very best as they move on to middle school.
Our fifth grade promotion is Tuesday, June 7 at 9:00AM.
Please note that if you bring balloons they will need to be tied to the fence during the ceremony so they do not block the view of those seated behind you. We do not recommend candy leis as they melt on the students. Please plan ahead and do not park in the red fire lane. We want to ensure the red zone is clear.
*Chairs will be provided.
Thank you to students, staff, and families for making our APEX event such a fun and memorable experience for everyone! We appreciate all who volunteered their time and who came to cheer our Bobier Broncos on as they ran in the Jog-a-thon! We also wanted to express our sincere gratitude for all who made such generous donations and pledges! This event will help provide funds for our yearbook and future events, activities and programs for our school community! Thank you for your support!

English Language Learners
The #1 fact separating good readers from weak readers is . . .
time spent reading!!
Reading requires practice. Our brains are not naturally wired for reading. Reading is a learned skill. And like any learned skill, it must be practiced.
Remember, students have access to Lexia and MyOn over the summer.
Please pack books for any summer trips, whether by car or plane. Time spent traveling is a great time to catch up on reading.
