Dr. Sheryl Burgstahler will speak on the topic of "Universal Design in Education," followed by a one-hour Universal Design and Active Learning (UDAL) Panel with Ana Thompson, Rosa Lundborg, (DRS at Bothell), Jeane Marty, Sheryl Burgstahler and Todd Conaway.


Dr. Burgstahler is the founder and Director of DO-IT (Disabilities, Opportunities, Internetworking and Technology Center) and UW Access Technology Center and the Lead Editor of Universal Design in Higher Education From Principles to Practice (2nd ed.). Boston: Harvard Education Press, 2015.
