Dear Parents and Guardians

Another busy week of learning and fun here at St Elizabeth's. I would like to congratulate all of our students for their outstanding behaviour so far this term. I love watching the kindness and care shown in and out of the classroom. Well done to all of our amazing staff for their leadership and being, positive role models to our students.

It has been wonderful meeting our new Pre Kindy/Kindy families for their interviews for 2024/2025 over the past two weeks. A special time to meet all of you individually and was lovely to hear such positive feedback about our school.

I would like to make a special mention of two staff members this week. Mrs Kim Manov, for her support and leadership over the last two weeks. You are a Superstar and a lady of many talents! I would also like to sincerely thank Mr Chris Rebeiro, for stepping out of the classroom and into the admin role for two days a week, over the last two weeks. It has been wonderful to have another future leader to work with. Thank you both for continuing to shine!

On Wednesday, 26 July it was the Feast Day of Saints Joachim and Anne, the grandparents of Mary, our Mother. 'It takes a village to raise a child' and right beside a child’s parents, are the grandparents. This week, please remember to give thanks for our special grandparents. It is wonderful to see so many grandparents around our school and at our assemblies. I thank all of our parents and grandparents who support their children and grandchildren in their education and well-being. We appreciate you!

We welcome Mr Hunter, (Year 1) Mr Fitzgibbons, (Year 3) Miss Collins (Year 6), back to St Elizabeth's this term to complete their final teaching practice. We are very fortunate to have three amazing prac students join our St Elizabeth's Team. We wish you all good luck over the next seven weeks.

To finish our week, we were blessed to have the Principal from Mater Dei; Mrs Annette Morey as well as her staff and students visit St Elizabeth's this morning. We were in awe of all the wonderful opportunities that Mater Dei have to offer. The students all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to Annette and her team for taking the time to visit us!

Lastly, on Monday, Mrs Clarkson and our talented Year Two students will be performing their dance at the Spirit of the Arts. We wish them all the best for their special day! Thank you Mrs Clarkson for the hours of preparation. You are phenomenal!

Have a safe and wonderful weekend!

In gratitude
