Can't Connect?
iPads that lose the ability to connect to Wi-Fi...
How do I know if this is the solution that I need?
Basically, what people are reporting is that there is no connection and when they try to quickly troubleshoot by just reconnecting, it's as if the option can't be turned on and/or is "grayed out." It makes it very easy to feel stuck, especially, if you think to restart the device and it STILL cannot find any network or turn on the Wi-Fi.
Luckily, this solution is very easy to Google and is just another troubleshooting step that you can almost always do to help in most wireless connection situations, anyway!
Open Settings... Simple! | Navigate to Reset... Through the "General" menu... | Select Reset Network Settings It will warn you of potential risks but without network how useful is that iPad? Go ahead and verify the reset... |
"That's all folks!"
As usual...
