Mrs. Greene's 3rd Grade
April 19, 2019
Another Great Week!
The days continue to fly by at school. I can't believe we only have 29 days of school left. We have a lot to accomplish and will work until the very last minute to get ready for 4th Grade.
Thank you to those of you who reached out to chaperone our field trip to Eagle Creek on May 1. The following parents will accompany us: Michelle Ruppel, Marcela Calderon, Darci Kamp, and Lori Bishop. For the field trip, we will leave at 9:00 am. Your child will need a disposable sack lunch. If the weather is nice, we will spend time after lunch playing on the big playground area before heading back to SRE. We will return to school around 2:00.
Don't forget...Monday, April 22 is our first official day of iLearn testing. We start out with Math at 8:30.
iLearn schedule is as follows:
- Monday, April 22: Math Day 1 8:30-9:30
- Tuesday, April 23: Math Day 2 8:30-9:30
- Thursday, April 25: Math Day 3 Performance Task 8:30-9:40

Don't forget to purchase your wristbands for the Spring Carnival which takes place April 26. It's going to be so much fun! I have attached a copy of the form at the bottom of this newsletter.
That's all I have for now...
Enjoy your weekend!

Room 9 Celebrations
A few student highlights from last week:
- Leah has such a kind heart. She felt responsible for a mishap her team had during a game. She went home and asked her mom if she could write a letter to me. Her mom allowed her to type an email to me. It was a very sweet letter of apology and explanation. The email made my day!
- Cort continues to impress me with his engagement, participation, and leadership he is showing each day!
- Logan's positive attitude is refreshing and makes me so happy!
- Cam is a deep thinker and has the ability to add a different perspective to our classroom discussions.
THERE ARE SO MANY MORE...stay tuned for more next week!
