Cindy's favorite quote she tends to live by is- "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."
When asked if she has any heroes, she answered, "Suzy Groff!" This is a true statement for many, as Mrs. Groff is so inspiring!
Here is a little history about Mrs. Asher's background and how she got to where she is today-
"After graduating from high school I struggled to finish getting my degree in education due to work and paying bills. Unfortunately I quit school to work full-time and regretted it for many years. As a single mom I knew now was the time or it would never happen. For 4 crazy years I returned to school to get my degree in education and still raise 3 very active kids. After getting my degree in Education I was employed at Bandera ISD. I taught Fifth Grade for 5 years and this is my 2nd year teaching First Grade. I love the energy and excitement for learning 1st Graders have and can’t imagine teaching any other grade!"
Mrs. Asher is most proud of her 3 beautiful and amazing kids and also returning to school as a single mom and getting her degree!
We must say, Mrs. Asher, you are beyond inspiring to us!
We are so lucky to have you on our campus.
Thanks for all you do! Enjoy your spotlight!
