Dear RNR Family
Back to School Event
Schedules
Drop Off & Pick Up
Dismissal:
We have a staggered dismissal.
6th grade and siblings: Release at 2:45 out the front doors.
7th grade and siblings: Release at 2:50 out the front doors.
8th grade: Release at 2:45 out the back doors. All 8th graders will be released out the back unless they have a younger sibling.
Athletes and walkers: Release at 3:00.
Please be mindful of our local businesses. The bank has requested that families not drive through their parking lot as it impedes their customers.
8th Grade:
8th grade: Will be dismissed at 2:45 on Kenmore. Cars must turn on to Kenmore from Center Street in order to park on the right. Cars will not be allowed to turn on Polk St. as it is for buses only during this time.
Students need to bring the proper rain gear for outside weather. 8th-grade parents will need to pull up to the baseball field where students will be let out. This helps us keep traffic off Center Street.
Students will be waiting between the fire hydrant and the black mailbox for pickup. Please stay in your cars and wait for your student to arrive. (See images below.)
RNR Reminders
Lockers: Lockers will not be used or assigned to students. Students will be able to leave their instruments and athletics equipment in designated areas throughout the day.
Rolling backpacks: Since lockers are not utilized, students may use rolling backpacks as needed.
Cell phones: Elementary and middle school students may bring their phones, but they must be off and in their backpack during the school day. If a student has their phone out, it may be confiscated per the outlined policy in the KCS handbook.
Ear buds: Students are allowed to use ear buds in classrooms, but they may not be used in the hallways for safety.
Faculty Parking Lot: Families are not permitted in the faculty parking lot. We have two faculty lots on our campus.

7th Grade Calculators: Highly Encouraged
It is important that students in 7th grade have the Texas Instrument TI-34 Multiview as a calculator. It has many processes and functions that have specific steps that we utilize and are approved for testing.
