Parkside Promise...
(Thank you to the parent who shared this amazing picture with us!)
Mustang Pride!
Wow! What an incredible turnout for Invention Night! A HUGE shout out to Casey Koester for putting this event together and to all of our PTA board members and volunteers for their hard work and time to ensure this event went off without a hitch! The smiles and excitement we witnessed last night was so heartwarming. We are so excited to offer even more family events this year! Thanks for coming out!
Thank you for everyone who showed interest in the Garden Club! This year only 45 students can be involved, 15 students per session to ensure we have safe ratios of students to volunteers.
Due to the high number of entries, we will have a lottery to establish club members this year. We are hopeful to learn from our experience this year in order to grow the Garden Club moving forward! Those students who are selected through the lottery system should receive an email indicating the child's assigned session by Oct 7th. All other students will be put on a wait list in the event that a spot opens. There will be other opportunities throughout the year to help in the garden, like our garden clean up and campus beautification days.
October 28th is National First Responder's Day! We welcome our first responders to join us for the Parkside News in the morning at 7:45am and, if possible, to join their student for lunch! Thank you so much for your service...you are SO appreciated!
We hope you all have a great weekend!
Lauren, Maggie, & Erin
