Frequently Asked Questions
What is Siblings Day?
Siblings Day is an opportunity for younger siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, or family friends (ages 8-17) to visit their favorite Georgia College student and spend the day as a college kid! The day will include interactive activities, chill hang-outs, and plenty of Bobcat spirit.
When is Siblings Day?
Saturday, February 8, 2020. Check-in will start at 9 a.m., and the program will wrap up around 8 p.m.
What does the registration fee cover?
The registration fee is $25 per child participant. The fee covers their meals for the day and all activities. There is no fee for your Georgia College student.
Are parents or adult family members allowed to attend?
Yes! Family members can attend any of the events of the day, but if you want to hand over the reins to your college student for a few hours, there will be a Parent Track of activities and a hospitality suite for you to have some peace and quiet. We will also provide a list of things to do in and around Milledgeville if you want to hit the town.
Is there a fee for parents to participate?
The registration fee is only for the child participants. You are welcome to join them for lunch at The MAX by paying at the door.
Will my child stay overnight?
With respect to our residence hall visitation policy and the safety of your children, kids will not be permitted to stay overnight in the residence halls. If you choose to make your visit a weekend trip, there are several hotels nearby!
How many kids per family are allowed to attend?
We will leave that up to you! Since your college student is responsible for supervising throughout the program, please consider how many kids they can handle. The cost of registration is $25 per child.
