Spring Testing Letter
Please Drive Safe
Middle School and High School Parent/Guardian Drivers:
Wildcat Drive is a busy place between 7:20 to 7:35 a.m. and again at 2:25 to 2:45 p.m.!
Since our return from winter break we have had some pretty tense moments.
Please be cautious, kind, and aware of pedestrians, cars, and our buses.
Pedestrians have the right of way, and if at all possible, let the buses out as they have to get back to town to pick up the elementary students.
Thank you!

Walkers and Bikers
Please make sure you are using the designated crosswalk areas (well-lighted and marked for drivers to see) in the City of Wayland and by the school when you are traveling to and from school (and at all other times). It is very important that you wait until you can cross safely at those areas because vehicles will not be able to see you when it is dark or stop quickly when the concrete becomes snow covered or icy.
Students are encouraged to walk with another person.
Be aware of your surroundings (travel without listening to music on your headphones or walking while you are looking at a personal cellular device).
Wear reflective clothing if possible.
Walk and ride defensively.
Educationally Yours,
Carolyn E. Whyte, Principal
