London's Transport Museum
About The Place
The place purpose is to conserve the transport heritage and explain the development of the Britain's capital city transportation.
At first the museum was built at the flower market of the covent garden at 1872 by William Rogers. The museum was opened to the public at 1980.
At this museum you can see collection of old models like buses, trains, different types of
subways, taxis, railway locomotive and more....
The museum presents how the transportation conducted by : posters, old maps of bus-lines and uniforms.
I recommend to visit this museum because it shows over 370,000 items of the Britain's
transport heritage and it is very special because it represents the progress of the technology of the transportaion beginning from horse and cart to trams.
