Dear Reader (Melissa M.)

Me and Abby decided to talk about bullying because we thought it was a very strong topic to talk about. People around the world get bullied almost every single day, people also die because of bullying, they try committing suicide and cutting themselves. We don't want them to die because of one stupid person saying their ugly and fat even thought they are not. We hope we inspire people.

Expository essay (Abby P.)

This issue has been going on for so long yet not much people do much about it. The bullying is now getting higher because of technology. We chose this topic because people don’t take this issue into consideration. Most people are caring about money, celebrities, and when they are getting their new iphone. Here are some fact about bullying: Bullying is a very serious thing, Can become out of hand, some people kill himself from being bullied, Approximately 160,000 students skip school everyday because of bullying, Over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying each year, some people can become the bully, some people walk, past a bully every single day, you never realise you are the bully, some people who get bullied start doing stuff that sooner or later they are going to regret doing it, there are 3 types of bullying bullying, anti-bullying, and cyberbullying, Bullying has caused about 4,400 suicides a year.

Writing based genre #1 (Melissa M.)

Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose. Bullying can lead to death broken friendships and worse it can lead to ending up in the hospital.

Writing based genre #2 (Melissa M.)

I was doing some reaserch and came across the bullying project. It basically a foundation to help prevent bullying. A girl named Kerri Abneg is hopping to be able to begin an early prevention program for ages 3-5. She says that children between 3-5 are most impressionable, and this age sets the foundation of how we will interact with people in general as we grow. To help with the bullying project visit this website:http://www.thebullyproject.com

Writing based genre #3 (Abby P.)

Our project is about bullying and how the effect of bullying is on bullying victims. Showing the statistics and how the bullying happens thorough out the students in the school.

Writing based genre #4 (Abby P.)

Bullying has been a big issue but most of the adults don't do anything to prevent it . They think starting a campaign is something will help stop it which is not the case. While kids are being bullied adults are trying to get "donations" to help children being bullied. Why do they need money? This is why we did this project to bring awareness for free.

Graphic Genre #1 (Melissa M.)

Notes: This image that i drew explains a lot of things. The girl i drew is looking at herself in the mirror and she wrote down words on the mirror. The words in the mirror represent what people have been calling her over the past few week. I also drew 2 thought bubbles one of them has a chair and a rope and the second one has a drawer with a knife so she can start cutting herself. They represent what she is thinking of right now. The one with the chair and the rope means death because she is thinking of committing suicide because she is done. She doesn't want to live anymore.

Graphic #2 (Melissa M.)

Notes: In this picture I decided to draw a little girl with words around her meaning hate. She has her hands in her face crying because she can’t handle all this hate coming towards her. They are calling her mean things like worthless, you suck , weirdo, etc…. This explains that bullying can get out of hand and can hurt people.

Graphic #3 (Abby P.)

Notes:This Picture is symbolizing on how people are like a piece of paper and when people are mean to them they are crushed like the first image. I after people keep saying thy're sorry she/he forgives them yet the scars are still there.

Graphic #4 (Abby P.)

Notes:this is a drawing and it’s symbolizing an average teenage girl thinking of all the things that bullies have been telling her and her feeling bad about herself.
