Candy Monster Update
Thank you for your generous donations of candy to our Halloween Candy Drive! We collected over 350 pounds of candy which will be donated to Grassroots Crisis Intervention Centers. The classes which won the competition for an extra recess are 1B, 5B and 6B.
Art to Remember
Orders may still be placed on-line, however, delivery by Christmas can not be guaranteed.

Grant and Aid Application is Open
October 31, 2019
Dear Resurrection-St. Paul School Parents (Guardians),
This letter is to inform you of the current Tuition Assistance Policy for the Church of the Resurrection and St. Paul Church.
This year, we will again be utilizing the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment program. There is a $32.00 application fee associated with this service and applicants wishing to apply for assistance are responsible for this fee. The application process opens on November 1, 2019 and ends on February 29, 2020. This deadline is strictly adhered to.
While FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment program assists the parishes in determining Grant and Aid eligibility based on need, there are several other eligibility requirements which must be met in order to be considered for Parish Grant and Aid. Please review the list below carefully prior to submitting an application. Parish Aid will NOT be granted if these eligibility requirements are not met.
Applicant must be a registered, practicing parishioner for one year, at either Church of the Resurrection or St. Paul Church, prior to applying for Grant And Aid
At least one parent/guardian must be a practicing Catholic
Weekly Mass attendance and a pattern of giving must be verifiable either by parish envelope use or through EFT giving
Student(s) must have applied, been accepted and registered for a grade in K-8. Pre-School is not eligible for Grant and Aid.
No one student will be awarded more than half the cost of tuition

Club Sign-up
The Mindfulness Project
We are grateful to Mrs. Katie Huber, RYT-500, RCYT, who will lead our mindfulness practice. If your child(ren) in Grades 5-8 are interested in attending, please complete the club contract below, filling in "Mindfulness Project," for the club name and return the form to Mrs. Rice. If you have any questions regarding the project, please contact Mrs. Rice at jrice@resstpaul.org or 410-461-9111, ext. 261. Thank you for supporting the safety, health and wellness of our school community.
Time to Invent Club - Semester 1, Grades 3-4
Return completed form to Mrs. Grue: Limited to 12 students.
Students participate in fun, hands-on invention activities that spark their interest in STEM. They tackle challenges, gain confidence through inventing and creative problem-solving, meet STEM professions, and realize the impact invention has on daily life.
From 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. in the Innovation Lab. Scheduled Dates: 11/12, 12/3, 1/14, 1/28. Students may bring their own snack. Students will be brought to the main foyer for pick up or returned to aftercare.
WinSTEM and STEM Ambassadors for Girls and Boys Grades 5 - 8
RSPS WinSTEM and STEM Ambassadors Mission Statement:
The mission of the Women in STEM and STEM Ambassadors club is to promote STEM and STEM careers to all the students at RSPS and the public at large, especially those who are underrepresented in STEM fields.
Members are given leadership opportunities to conduct hands-on STEM investigations, explore careers in STEM, improve team building and leadership skills by participating in and mentoring other students through project based learning experiences, challenges, and STEM career development sessions.
The structure of the club:
The club is project based not meeting based. There are no regularly scheduled meeting times. Meetings are as needed and will usually take place during lunch/recess. Women in STEM Gr 5–8 female students. STEM Ambassadors Gr 5-8 male students. Students can join the club at anytime time until the end of February.Please return the registration form signed by student and parent/guardian to Mrs. Grue.
